Building Structure Mapping on Level Terrains and Sea Surfaces in Vietnam

Mapping building structures is crucial for environmental change and impact assessment, especially important to accurately estimate fossil fuel CO2 emissions from human settlements. In this regard, the objective of study develop novel robust methods using time-series data acquired Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar (SAR) identify map persistent coastal plains high plateaus, as well on sea surface. From annual composites SAR in two-dimensional VV-VH polarization space, we determined domain detecting structures, whose persistence was defined based number times that a pixel identified data.
